With the Coronavirus, or any illness, whether preventing it or dealing with it when it happens, the most important thing is to strengthen the immune system. The same things that raise your vibration also strengthen your immune system and help you prevent or heal illness. Your body has an amazing way of fighting off disease and returning to balance, so let’s help it do its job.

1) Minimize stress in your life

The first suggestion is the most important. In fact, all of the other suggestions come under this heading. Stress is the biggest factor in weakening your immune system. There are many ways to do this, so just do what you can when you can and it will help. Put relaxation on your todo list. Right on the top.

2) Get enough sleep

7-8 hours of restful sleep each night. Keep your room clean, at a cool temperature, with no extra light.Even the light of a clock can disturb your sleep. Do something restful before
sleep, not the TV or smartphone. You want to feel comfort and peace. Use a nice guided meditation to deeply relax you (there is a list of useful meditations at the end of this post).

3) Don’t buy into fear

The media has a way of spreading fear. Fear causes stress and stress isn’t helping you, it’s hurting you. If the news bothers you, stay away from it. Don’t get sucked into conversations in real life or social media that spread fear.

4) Breathe deeply

When you slow down your breath, you slow down your thinking. You engage your parasympathetic nervous system which calms you. Deep breathing improves your immune system, lowers your blood pressure and brings oxygen to every cell of your body. That feels good just reading about it! You can take a deep breath at any time…like now!

5) Watch your thoughts

Your thoughts create your emotions and your emotions affect your body. Love yourself. This will strengthen your immune system better than anything! Don’t beat on yourself. Don’t buy into fear. Be well informed and comfort yourself with your thoughts. Stay positive. Fill your thoughts will enjoyable music, a good read, positive mantras, all the things in life that make you happy.

6) Meditate

Meditation reduces stress, controls anxiety and promotes emotional health. Stay in the present moment as much as possible. Practice mindfulness and self-awareness. This nourishes your entire energy field.

7) Nature

Get out in nature, which is a natural healer, and enjoy the peace and coherence that brings to you. Nature reminds us of what it’s like to be in the present moment and to be still. It is inspiring and helps you get into the gratitude mode. Not only that, you are outside with the sun, fresh air and lots of earth energy.

8) Gratitude

Being thankful raises your vibration so quickly because it is a form of love. There is always something to be grateful for and once you start naming all of those things in your life, you keep thinking of more. This is a very powerful healer.

9) Nutrition

The wrong foods can weaken your immune system quickly. Stay away from sugar, alcohol, smoking, junk food, fried food. Eat more fruit and vegetables. Supplements and vitamins that can help are turmeric, vitamins B, C and E. Anti-inflammatories and adaptogens are helpful.

10) Gentle exercise

Exercise keeps your strong, provides oxygen to all your cells, and opens your meridians. Avoid heavy exercise which may release too much cortisol into your system, which is a stressor.

11) Love and Laughter

Just thinking of this raises your vibration! Laughter lowers your blood pressure, improves cardiac health, releases endorphins (the feel-good hormone), and boosts your t-cells. Spend time with your loved ones and friends. Watch a funny movie. Hug your pet. Why spend your time worrying when you could use that same energy and time to love someone, love nature, love yourself?

What you give to yourself, by the unity principle, you give to the world. So following these guidelines not only makes you more resilient but raises the vibration of the world and helps all. You may find, that this virus arriving on the planet right now helps us all to focus more on loving ourselves and each other.
