Angels are our guardians and guides.

They are divine spiritual beings of love and light that work with humanity to help us in this lifetime.

Guardian angels are unique to each person; we each have our own team. For some people this may be one angel, for others it may be many; and you can always ask for more if you feel the need.

The Angels respect your free will and won't directly interfere in your life unless asked, or, if your life is in danger before your time. When you ask for guidance, your angels will communicate through your intuitive feelings and a variety of other ways. When you are uncertain about a decision, you can always ask them for a sign to confirm your feelings. Signs from the angels help us feel a direct connection, enhancing our intuition and giving us the confidence to move forward.

Aside from Guardian Angels, there are also Archangels who help humanity.

The Archangels are a higher elevation of energy then our Guardian Angels (arch means above) and there are hundreds of them; each working with a particular purpose to provide guidance and help for us.

The Archangels also respect our free will and will not interfere in our lives directly unless we ask; but they definitely give us nudges for our highest good and in the direction of our purpose.

Guardian Angels and Archangels work with our spirit guides to form what I like to call our "Celestial Guidance Team". Together, this team can give each of us protection, healing, guidance, inspiration, opportunities, support, comfort and just about whatever else we may need. When asked, they conspire on our behalf for our highest good.

While there is no formal training or technique needed to ask your angels for help, there are some specific ways you can inquire that immediately align you with a manifesting mindset and focus; stating clearly WHAT you want help with, and leaving the door open for HOW it will come to you. When you ask for help in this manner, you leave room for endless possibilities and avoid limiting language; allowing the angels to work their brand of magic to bring you what you need to create your intentions.

Here are 5 ways to call on your Angels for help (and which ones to ask)

1. I AM READY INTENTION

Feeling absolutely ready to finally have what you want? The "I am ready" statement is a powerful trio of magical manifesting words! You can use this statement to ask your angels for help with just about anything, but it is especially useful when you are trying to create positive changes in your life. Here's a sample phrase you can customize to meet your needs:

"Guardian Angels and Archangels (you you can name the ones you want want for help, I will cover which ones help with what later in this article), I am ready to create/embrace ______________________ for my highest good. Please help me bring this to life and I will follow your guidance. Thank you!"

Be sure to keep your words positive and focus on what you want (not how you want to receive it). You can write or say any of these intentions once or twice, but do not nag (repeated invoking demonstrates doubt and a lack of faith which attracts negative energy). After you make your request for help, pay attention to ideas or opportunities that come to you and follow them; your angels be giving you information intuitively to help you create what you desire.

2. PEOPLE AND RESOURCES REQUEST

We often need the help of others to create our dreams, especially if related to a business and/or our Life Purpose. The Angels are incredibly valuable resources to help us with these endeavors; part of their purpose is to guide and support us in serving ours. Asking directly for the help we need, once we know what we want, is an amazing way to quickly generate anything from new clients to new ideas and new opportunities. Here's a sample phrase you can customize to meet your needs:

"Guardian Angels and Archangel Michael (if related to your Life Purpose), please bring me the people and resources I need to create _______________________. Please put me on the minds of anyone who can help me in any way and have them contact me for service. Thank you."

3. IDEAS AND INSPIRATION REQUEST

Feeling lost and/or uninspired?
You can specifically ask the Angels to reignite your brain and imagination so you can get clarity and take action! This intention is very useful when you feel a bit unsure about what you actually want and/or what your Life Purpose is. It is also great for creative endeavors like writing or art. Here's a sample phrase you can customize to meet your needs:

"Guardian Angels and Archangels (you can name the ones you want for help), please give me ideas and inspiration to help me (decide, know, or create) ________________, so that I know the next steps to take. Thank you"

I use this intention frequently for writing blogs and articles. I also write websites for entrepreneurs, often for businesses I know nothing about. I usually need ideas that will best suit varying audiences, and the Angels always come through to help inspire me!

4. I SURRENDER

Surrender is powerful. This is not the waving the white flag, giving up scenario we might think of when we hear that word. Surrender is faith; it is saying that you have faith in your higher self and your Angels (plus God or the Universe; whatever energy resonates for you) to work together for the best possible outcome; free of expectations and limitations. This intention is awesome when you need help with communicating (even in situations of conflict), presenting, performing or any time nerves have you feeling out of sorts.

The Angels can align you with your higher self for peace, help you recall the information you need and help you communicate so the interaction is successful, pleasant and for your highest good.

I use this technique before every single Angel Reading I do, my Facebook Live Angel Readings and whenever I am teaching a seminar (webinar) or presenting at a live event. It works like a charm, keeps me calm and has never failed to help me be successfull. Here's a sample phrase you can customize to meet your needs:

"Angels, Archangel Gabriel (who helps with communication) and Archangel Uriel (who helps us recall information) I completely surrender to you. Please connect me with my higher self and guide my speech words, and actions so the _______________________ interaction is a harmonious success for my highest good. Please help me remember what I need to say at the moments I need to say it. Please help connect everyone involved to their higher selves so that we all benefit positively from this experience. Thank you"

5. WHICH ANGELS TO CALL ON FOR HELP

Angels and Archangels are Divine spiritual beings of love and light; they really do not care about being named.

All you really need to do to ask for help is, ASK!

That being said, humans seem to love names and specificity, and the angels know it helps make us more faithful. That is why there are names for our Guardian Angels and Archangels (along with specific purposes for Archangels); it helps humans create a stronger connection. You never need to name an Angel when asking for help, it will be up to you; do what feels for you, always.

Here is some information about which angels to call on for help:

Guardian Angels

Our Guardian Angels are all purpose helpers and can give us guidance, healing and support for anything we need; just ask. We each have a Primary Guardian Angel that is with us for our entire lifetime; more Angels may come and go as needed, depending what is happening in our lives, and you can always ask for more Angels to be around you for help and support. You can ask your Primary Guardian Angel (and any others) for their name and they will bring you the information intuitively. The names are often very unique and will come to you, after asking, in the form of Angel Signs; so pay attention to names you hear or see repetitively after asking for the information. Once you know the name, you can use it for communication; or not, it's up to you.

Archangels: Below are 15 common Archangels and their purposes (what ways they can help us)

Michael

life Purpose and protection (patron saint of Police Officers is St. Michael)

Raphael

healing mind, body and spirit (works with healers) and safe travels

Gabriel

creativity, communication and conceiving children

Uriel

emotional healing and recalling information (great for students and test taking)

Jophiel

seeing beauty in all things, creating beauty (great for decorating)

Haniel

works with the lunar cycles (call on for release of negativity during full moons)

Ariel

helps create prosperity or abundance, guardian of animals (helps with pets)

Zadkiel

helps us remember (also great for test taking)
